Shriners Hospitals for Children is a pediatric hospital system dedicated to improving the lives of children through the innovative research, education and specialized treatment of orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and cleft lip and palate. The Tampa hospital solely focuses on orthopaedic care.

It is a 60-bed facility providing pediatric orthopaedic care for children regardless of the patient!€™s ability to pay. Care is provided in multiple settings including:

Out-patient, in-patient, surgery and special care units
Orthotics and prosthetics
Seating/mobility
Cleft lip and palate
Spinal cord injury
Burn care
Rehabilitation including (physical, speech and occupational therapy)
Motion analysis lab (gait analysis)

In-Patient Units:
24 hours a day, 7 days a week

Patients can self-refer by calling (888) 665 - KIDS and select the "New Patient" option.
