Project Vet Relief provides a Legion of support for our service men and women as they transition into civilian lives. Immediate financial assistance when dealing with a life emergency. A program of the American Legion, Department of Florida.

Services include:

Emergency assistance; Rental / Utilities (One-time)
Government shut down assistance
Benefit support
Community engagements
Employment opportunities

Hours:

7:00am-1:30pm, Mon, Wed, Fri;
8:00am-3:00pm, Tue, Thurs

Intake Process:

All grants are case-by-case basis and require a complete investigation.

Call and speak with the Case Worker at 407-295-2631 or visit the website if you have any questions about services.

One time Emergency Assistance:

Must have copy of Veterans DD Form 214 honorable or general honorable.
Current Military ID card or VA Card.
Copy of Child Birth Certificate and Marriage Certificate. Copy of requested bill/lease.
Provide proof of continuous income and other supporting documents.
Expenses not documented on application, will not be considered.
Copy of lease, if applying for rent, mortgage, or utility Letter of A list of other organizations or agencies.

Veterans, National Guard and Reservist, Active Duty Military, and their immediate Family members (spouse, child, parent)
