Description:

Barry University's Youth Development Program C.H.A.M.P.S. (Community of Healthy, Active, Motivated, Positive Students)-CROP serves youth in grades 6-12.

During the school year afterschool program, youth learn new skills and discover new opportunities via structured activities focused on supporting Academic Success, Health and Wellness Social-Emotional Wellness, and Skill-Building, focusing on the areas of STEM, Project-Based Learning, Civic Engagement Projects, and Family Engagement Services. The summer program consists of 6 weeks of Health and Wellness, Sports Leadership and College and Career Readiness activities hosted at the lovely Miami Shore Bary University Campus.

The goal of the program is to equip youth with social, emotional and cognitive skills that promote personal and academic success so that they are can develop into C.H.A.M.P.S.- a Community of Healthy, Active, Motivated, Positive Students.

Intake Process:

CHAMPS-CROP Summer Program:
Every youth interested must have a Guardian complete and submit the CHAMPS-CROP Registration Packet via the online link. The registration link can be obtained by contacting a CHAMPS-CROP team member.

Once registration is submitted online, the guardian will be contact in regards to further details about the summer program.
