The Veterans Aide and Attendance Pension provides qualified veterans and surviving spouses, a tax free pension that helps pays for assistance received at home or in some cases, nursing homes or assisted-living facilities.

General Information
Hours:
8:30am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri
On call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
Intake Process:
Must have marriage license, discharge papers, credit card, demographic information and signed consent forms
Program Fees:
Monthly fee reimbursed to the pension applicant by the VA, if qualified.
Pension recipient then pays Best Care for services.
Languages:
English, Spanish, French
Eligibility:
Veterans or surviving spouses of veterans who provided service of at least 90 days during war time.
Honorably discharged.
Liquid assets of less than $80,000 and nothing more than limited income.
