Description:

The Early (EPI) Prevention & Intervention Youth & Internship Programs mission provides a rich array of opportunities for the !€œat-risk!€ youth and high school students who seek community service for their graduation requirements. Each EPI participant voluntarily commits to a 8-week semester at one of our local Hialeah park facilities.

The curriculum teaches how to build strengths, foster a sense of belonging and purpose, and provide opportunities to lead and be heard. To achieve this vision, we need to focus on building supportive structures that create the conditions for learning. In other words, we focus on educating the whole child. We genuinely believe we can achieve that with the community service work and their weekly educational classes.

7:30am-8:30pm, Mon-Fri

EPI Educational Class Sessions are located at
Wilde Community Center
5404 W 18th Avenue Hialeah, FL 33012.


Participants are assigned to one of 15 different Parks and Recreation facilities throughout the City of Hialeah.
