Description:
Low-income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), assists low-income households in meeting the costs of home heating and cooling. The majority of funds are used for utility payment assistance, but LIHEAP can also provide assistance to eligible households through utility deposits, and fees for restoring power.
Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program (EHEAP) provides emergency home energy payments for elderly residing in Polk County.
